Royal Government of Cambodia Vows Not to Let Citizen Die from Covid-19

PHNOM PENH: The Royal Government of Cambodia has announced its commitment to prevent deaths due to Covid-19 by accelerating the Covid-19 vaccination process.

In a press release issued by the plenary session of the Council of Ministers on Friday, 4 February, Prime Minister stated in the meeting that "The Ministry of Health, relevant ministries and institutions must continue to accelerate the third dose of vaccination for all people, continue to promote the fourth dose of vaccination campaign for civil servants, and call on all citizens who have not been vaccinated to come and receive the vaccine quickly at the designated sites to increase immunity in the community."

The Royal Government has also seen progress of economic recovery, which has led to an increase in tax revenue and the resumption of economic activity, which is a good development for the Kingdom of Cambodia to guarantee past expenditures.

It has so far been 31 days that no deaths because of Covid-19 have been reported in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
